บัตร iCLASS สมาร์ทการ์ดของ HID ที่ความถี่ 13.56MHz มีเทคโนโลยีการเข้ารหัสบนความปลอดภัยขั้นสูงสุด (64 bit diversified keys & mutual identification) ทำให้มีความปลอดภัยของข้อมูลที่ถูกนำมาเก็บไว้บนบัตร สามารถเลือกหน่วยความจำได้ทั้งแบบ 2 k หรือ 32 k (bits) มีขนาดเท่ากับบัตรเครดิตตามมาตรฐาน ISO
